Mandrel Bending Tooling
Mandrel bending is a process designed to prevent rippling and distortion of the material as it is formed. This method provides a high quality appearance, which is necessary for many consumer & commercial items such as handrails, automotive accessories, furniture, shop fittings and street furniture just to name a few.
Our bending facilities include:
- Mandrel bending from 10mm Ø tube up to 115mm Ø tube & 168Ø pipe
- High quality bends without distortion
- 3 Dimensional bending to ensure accuracy and reduced set up costs
- Different sections capable of being bent include tube, pipe, square, oval tube, solid bar (round & flat), angle iron etc.
- Bending of special sections
- Semi-Automatic and CNC capability
- Location of bends in position - reduces welding time and installation costs
